Yes Mel - Peterborough.
31st March 2012
at the Exec Exhibition Centre, at the Peterborough Showground.
Good access, same price, more space, bigger/better cafe area.
Hotels and campimh very close by for those wanting to make a weekend of it.
Nobody likes change, we get comfortable with thing, but I think this could be an excellant location.

Me like the sound of that!! and Nene valley railway just up the road........
Now whats the likelyhood of a few of us getting together and chartering a coach on the evening train???

Only if its got a bar!:confused:

Hmmmm:thinking: Probably no worse to get to from here than Stoneleigh, a bit further perhaps, but no M6.

I loiks the sound of a evening trip, just it's a bit far in front just now for me to know what I'm at then. Need a rethink nearer to.

Stoneleigh was great this year, lots of new rollingstock kits and quite a few new suppliers.

Some lovely oak truss bridges and trestles at very good rpices from http://www.Gscaledesigns.co.uk < Link To www.Gscaledesigns.co.uk

Some amazing laser cut wood kits for Darjeeling coaches and diesel engines from Peter Yatton http://www.yatton.me.uk < Link To www.yatton.me.uk (going to order a few of them once the 'card' has recovered) email is: peter (at) yatton (dot) me (dot) uk

Here are a few pics, didn't take many as too busy buying or chatting this year

That's a good venue.

Easily accessible from the M11, A1 and the A14 too, so good road and rail links to the rest of the country....

adds 1.5 hrs to the journey time for me
still, probably worthit

Its swings and roundabouts isn't it 'Owlpool'. I spent 3 hours 20 minutes each way to Stoneleigh - this will save me over half an hour.
But - at the end of the day - once we are in the car, it makes little difference.
Your worth it.

you're right Alan
I spent a quarter of what I spent at the show, on petrol
if you see what I mean
with the bargains, seeing it all in one day, and savings on postage - puts it in perspective:thumbup:
