I thought I would start a thread for snowy pics. There should be a few about at the moment.
Mel gave me the idea with his 'Vids for a snowy day' idea. My broardband is so slow it can hardly buffer a Youtube Vid at the moment (engineers due Thursday to sort the external line), so I have only managed to see a couple. Pictures do load eventually!

The plan on the Seahaven branch was to run a loco continuesly during the night of the Snowfall to keep the line clear ( As they did on the L&B ) unfortunetly the engine crew repaired to the pub prior to this , then couldn't be bothered to go back outside whilst the snow was still falling. The next morning the fire in the little Austrian built 0-4-0 had gone out and the water crane had frozen up.

Hedgebottom station is still snowed up, the Track Gangs mess wagon is in the passing loop where it was left prior to the snow pending work on the station. Rumour has it that Bob "Ginger" Nutter was sleeping in it to avoid his Missus and drink in the Airey Arms.

There are 10 hopper wagons in this picture of Zenda station. Somewhere........
