Small plug and socket

I'm having problems with the cabling between the loco and the tender on my shorties. For now, I've hard wired them, but ideally I'd like to be able to disconnect them.

The plug in the loco is difficult to remove, and the wires are forever breaking, so I want something that's more user friendly. Needs to be something small, Any ideas?????

Have many wires do you need?
There are any number of audio, computer and R/C leads and sockets plus other toys / models such as Lego.

I've used standard telephone cable plug and socket set from Poundland on my Garrett - gives you four wires. Don't know what the max ampage loading is though. but works for me.
