I am currently building a signal box from a T&M Model kit, and I want to make the interior more realistic by adding "fixtures & fittings - noteably the rack of levers, track plan board etc.

I can obtain certain items, such as a pot bellied stove, table & chairs, clock etc, from sources such as Doll House suppliers, but does anyone know where I could obtain the signal levers (rack)?

Any assistance for this novice searcher would be appreciated.

steve warrington, back to bay 6..i think thats how u spell it, is very goode for these bits

Thanks Mike. Looks like my search is over!!.

Re:Signal Box Internal Fittings-Any Suppliers?

A set of levers would not be difficult to scratchbuild?

Re:Signal Box Internal Fittings-Any Suppliers?

The kit that Steve does contains the bits in the photo (the kitchen sink is a seperate part!) He will supply more levers if you wish.

Here are some photos of my cabin.
The frame is made from the Steve Warrington Back2Bay6 signalbox interior kit with an additional set of 5 levers that he sells seperately.

The second view is of the underside of the (detachable) front roof and shows the diagram which I've made to be suspended from the roof. This was the most common way of displaying diagrams in signal cabins.

Finally is an overall view of the cabin.

Thanks for all the info and piccies. Iv'e now almost finished my first attempt at kit building (using a Signal Box kit from T&M Models, and interior fittings from Back2Bay6, Modeltown & Hobbycraft).

Iv'e rigged up internal lighting, and a smoke generator in the basement section, (to work the pot bellied stove), and all that remains is to fit an external street lamp near the external stairs.

As this was my first attempt, I now feel more confident to "go native" and try true scratch building, without the benefit of a building kit.

Here are a couple of photographs of the "Apprentices" work.
