Second Garden Railway of Tom (aged 58 and three quarters)

It's now called 'Crawley Down Light Railway' (for want of a better title  ) and it's got a station at long last!

Also a few characters have turned up (I won't call them 'figures' because they are not that accurate but do add a lot of charm to the railway).

And loads of greengrocer stuff!

Thanks Steven. It's 'Wessex 6mm Coarse Gravel' and sells for £3.45 a bag from our local nursery. It scales up rather well, doesn't it?

Looks good. I like those figures. Who makes them?
Hi Shawn, they are made by Model Town. Good value and easy to paint with acrylics if you spray them with grey primer first.

Thanks for the comments everyone - my next project is to 'anglicise' a Bachmann Gas Mechanical 0-4-0
