SDs at Quinton

For some reason my SDs don't as often as they should. Tonight I got them out and took a few photos. The Sd40 was my second G scale loco and is now the longest serving member of the fleet with 9 years service. It was secondhand when I bought it.

Nice pic's Chris of your SD's
Do like your last pic with them both head on

Can't have a head on crash because I don't have DCC. :D
I try to do what I can to avoid crashes. The last yard of my storage sidings are plastic rail so I can't drive a train off the end. I have managed to reverse a train off the end of the sidings but least the loco didn't go over the edge as well. Memo to self - install barrier at end of storage sidings.

And I have no plans to remodel mine to make it just like the real one!

I think you are right, the blue-bonnet sits well on the loco. I also am a non-DCC fan. I used to have a couple of nice pumpkins, Lord Raglan has them now.
