Scratch-built Br53, anybody?

Please note that this runs on 64mm track - what is called here in UK Gauge 3. It is the standard gauge counterpart of LGB's 22.5th scale meter-gauge stuff.

I reckon that loco is around five feet long, or thereabouts.

Sadly, it was only a gleam in the eye of Borswigwerke u. Lokomotivenbau - conceived right slap-bang in the middle of a war. Maerklin make it in H0 - black and fotoanstrichgrau.

As you say, what a beast it would have been!
