Enjoy the pictures. Bought some new plants so now I have to wait before it covers the ground a bit. Will look nice I guess :) The pictures are about a month old, meanwhile I planted some more plants too. If the weather allows it this weekend, I'll update with some pictures!

Long time, no hear!

And I enjoyed your video too....

Great pictures.....and an excellent video - liked the prototypical speed of the train....not too slow, not too fast. Great stuff:thumbup:

There's no way I'm going to let the missus see your vid - she'll want a fountain as well!
Excellent

Looks brilliant recon a tunnel would fit in very well:thumbup:

New rolling stock arrived, two PIKO schuttgutwagons.

I also got the permission for laying more track. The outer loop (created by two switches right in front of the picture) will be completely R2 so bigger locos can run more fluently. The green line is the new track, the yellow track will be removed/used for shunting.

Sure are good pics!

I just wish I had some more land to grab!:-

More great stuff DR. I love that loco and coach combination. More track on the way too! Welcome to the G Scale habit of growing "just a little bit" every year.

The plants are maturing well and already giving the layout atmosphere. The amount of land that you can gain is inversely proportional to the amount of pressies and chores that are given!

nice to hear from you again

nice job indeed-like your new coach and hoppers too
very tidy trackwork

might I suggest something to block the view of the entire layout in a single glance-will make it more intriguing and make it appear larger

large retaining wall, tunnel, hedge ??

like the fountain too

Yeah, have been thinking about that too. When the extra track is in place, I'll be doing something like this. A small hedge is a good option...

@Others: thanks for the nice comments! Gives me a boost to keep this thread updated with more pics.

love it

Some pictures of the start of the extension. The last pictures shows a gap between new track and the old line. There'll be a switch from there to the part of the line with the yellow plants to create the outer loop who will be completely R2 so bigger locos can run a bit more fluently. The Br260 from PIKO f.e. Enjoy the pictures.
