Back from vacation, so blew off the leaves from the line and ran a bit today.

This include the rebuilt stainz, which is progressing - now has new chimney, dome, whistles, number and lettering, crew, some odd details (more to come) - still awaiting name plates, coal in the bunker, lamp irons and fire iron hooks on the back etc. Not sure about the front buffer beam. Something tells me it should be wider, but it's sort of the same as Earl/Countess.

The brake compo coach is nearly complete. The roof needs popping on correctly.

Both the coaches now have body mounted chopper couplings which makes them closer coupled.

Here's the train returning, engine having run round.

Superb piccies, I love the loco that's a very well done bash:applause: :applause:

Hi Martino,
congratulations to your bash, it looks very good. If you would not have mentioned that the base is a Stainz there would be no chance for any guess.
Especially the open cap looks really nice.

Martino I knew you were bashing a Stainz but for some reason I hadn't seen the finished article. Looks really great and like Klaus says, if you hadn't told us the base model, I wouldn't have spotted what it was. Wonderful! Was there an article on GSM aboutthe build?

Thanks guys.

I didn't do an article as such as my bashes are not planned, they seem to just happen! I did post a number of entries as things progressed. And I've added a number of photos to my gallery here - I'll add these latest ones to it tonight when I'm home form work.
