OK, i'd like to install lighting and a few passengers, so how do you remove the roof (without breaking anything) from these coaches:

The roof clips into recesses in the glazing.
Ease the coach body outwards at the top by putting a couple of fingers through the open windows on one side and simultaneously ease the coach roof upwards.

Ah ha! Thats great Neil. Was contemplating screwdrivers into the roof/side join!

</p><p>I was thinking the same. It has nice simple understated not too shiny, not too grimy look</p><p>I have just bought a basic Rhb luggage van body for less than &pound;2 ,on a whim. I think it would make-up into something like this using a USAT 0-4-0 motor block I "bought earlier"</p>

May i recommend the 'Boxcab Build, GRS Kit' topic in the in the 'Kit Building & Bashing / Scratch Build' section. The loco has now been sprayed with grey primer. The picture above is the nekkid styrene sheet!
