Re LGB Brohital MALLET 25851 Decoder requirement?

Can anyone confirm that the decoder required for the LGB 25851 Mallet is the MTS 3 or massoth equivalent?

I have fitted decoders to 2 of these previously but just need to update my memory, as one of theses locos should be arriving here shortly, subject to the sale of 1 of my Meyers

25851 should have a factory decoder and I would expect it to be a LGB Large Onboard decoder by Massoth.

Whoops sorry misquoted the item number the one I am purchasing it is 26850 more recent that the 25851 just re checked with the retailer so it is digital ready not digital onboard.

That will need a decoder with a 10 pin interface - LGB55027 or Massoth XL or XLS
