Railroads on Travel Channel Freeview 42

I wonder how many other Forum Members are watching the Travel Channel - new on FREEVIEW Channel 42 at 6.30pm. This is about Heritage Railways, so far those I have watched were in the USA. It seems to be, like most tv these days, repeated quite regularly.

There were a few from New Zealand a few weeks ago.
The American lines seem to be very similar.
Mid morning departure, held up by bandits mid way, all out for a communal lunch before the return, being entertained by an out of tune crooner. Give me UK preserved railways any day.

Fun and enjoyable I think. But there is always food being served so make sure to eat before you watch.
You do need to bear in mind this is a travel promotion and not a railway thing.

Holt..that's the guy...".touristine" railroads otherwise, as you say ..enjoyable content. Think the Aussie had the edge!
