Pure whimsy

Hillwalking, chickens and - err - garden railways.

The grandchildren were round today - as usual -:D and demanded "a red engine, with smoke."
I decided to run this much underused Annie. It was bought v cheaply to respray but it caused outrage from my wife and son No 2 who both thought that it was too colourful to spoil.
However, I have to adnit it is a beautifully applied colour scheme and looks good glinting in the sunshine - possibly one of the reasons it doesn't get much of an airing.
Still. it went down well with the GCn espec' as they also had smoking yellow diesel to go with it BUT it ought not to have been hauling RhB stock!
