Can someone walk me thru the process of posting pictures and short videos. All talk and no pictures to back them up leads to a poor posting.

I'm probably (well, certainly) not the best at posting pics - even though I do it all the time.

When you start a Post (Thread), or reply to one, there is the facility to upload a file from your PC, Lappy, or whatever medium you use for the Internet.

Size seems important so I try and keep my pics down to around 480kb. Other have more success with posting larger ones!

Once the upload has worked (it will show a Thumbnail size pic together with any other info - pic no. or name), you can insert it as full-size (make sure you have moved your cursor to the required location within, above, or below, your text first, then click on full-size!.

If it fails, and only shows the pic title or number, go to delete and start again. It might need re-sizing or converting to jpeg or whatever.

If I need to resize, I often copy the pic and resize that so the original pic remains unmolested!.

So that worked well - we just need the text!
The pictures are of a Scienctific TOY engine getting a remake. Got rid of the gaudy shinny red & green plastic replace headlamp with a 9vdc white LED added bolts along side of the motor above drivers for added traction. Added Bull Frog Snot, that's right snot, to drivers. Tested out and was able to pull 12 New Bright cars around a tight circle under the Christmas tree. Bet Scienctific never considered that in a million years.
More pictures to come. I have even made my own plastic turnouts with Plastic New Bright track and they WORK!!

What I tend to do is to start a little Text then Upload my Pics using the (Upload a File) Button immedietely next to (Post Reply) Button but you have found that already.

Then when I want to add Pictures I press the (Full Image) button next to the (Thumbnail) button.

But then I add a Carriage Return between each picture.

I use the Button next to each Picture (Thumbnail) rather than the option to (Insert every image) as this allows me to add the Text between each Picture.

At this stage, should you want to it is then possible to re-order the pictures should you choose to as you add each one to the Main Body of your Post.

Not sure if you have an iPad or iPhone, I tend to Take Pictures of Modelling Projects on the iPad or load Pictures that have been downloaded form my Camera as they work OK for size.

A little more text can be added here if required.

And even here.

Hope this helps a little more.

Nice conversion, I had one of these many moins ago and was going to convert it to one of the Irish Tralee and Dingle 2-6-0's the smaller one not a Hunslet as that is Big Hauler Fodder. Never happened and I sold it on, wonder if it is still eeking out a living?

Looks like you have got. Nice conversion project coming along there. I like it.
