POLLS ?????????????????????

Greetings,
I wanted to post a question to the track section.
I was denied posting because I did not do a poll.
I read the poll and did not understand it let alone complete it.
I find this intimidating to the point that I avoid participating in the forum.
The polls, combined with the endless ads popping up in what you are trying to read discourages me from membership.

Hi Hank - that's strange. You did go to Track & Track Laying I presume. You could look at the threads and ask a question on one of those.

Yes, I started a new topic on Track and Track Laying, finished my remarks, then tried to Post and was blocked because I hadn't done the Poll.

A lot of regular users pay for the ads to be removed; the site has to pay for itself, somehow. For occasional users not wishing to pay to have ads to be removed, the downside is the bombardment of the adverts.

Try using a different internet “browser” I use Brave on my pc and iPad... no adverts as they are blocked!

We recently had a big issue about nearly loosing the forum due to the adds issue being argued about. Please do not cause that issue problem again, you can pay to have the adds removed or just accept them and get the best Garden Railway Forum for free.

I just signed up for ADFREE. My apologies, I did not know you could do that. Regarding polls, I probably wandered into one of the ads and got stuck. Lemme try the TRACK question again minus the ads.
