But now sold (but not to me, I'm a 4052 man).

I thought it would sell pretty quick. But at least the mention here demonstrates that you can get those things cheaper than they are normally listed for.

Maybe you should broaden your horizons to include the 4029?:

I almost tried to get this other one in the UK because it was such a deal and had a make offer option: PLAYMOBIL train 4354. | eBay I asked a question about it and someone else's offer was accepted on the first day or two of it's listing before my question was answered.

Actually, I remember now that the tender on my 4052 was originally from the 4029 set as it had the PRR stickers on but was being sold by itself, as was the 4052 loco (without tender).

I shall broaden my search for missing parts (at a reasonable price) to include 4029 and 4354; missing are the tender doors.

Interesting set that was, never seen the battery operated crossing arm before. Such a useful piece of kit. The demise of Pm trains is something that we all regret.
