FYI just saw this on ebay, 18 pieces of track including straights (8ft, says 4 pieces but picture looks like 8 x 1ft pieces joined together), R1 (I assume) curves and a RH R1 point for £60 inc P&P.

I think early Playmobil powered track was basically LGB re-branded.
I make no claims for any of this but thought it might have missed anyone looking for track as you won't find this by searching for LGB.

There was a time many Years back that PM sold LGB Track in PM boxes for considerably less Money than LGB were charging. Probably 25-30 Years ago. I had a couple of boxes of 300mm Straights at the time.

Yes indeed, LGB track in blue PM boxes.bargain at the time.:hi:

I started my railway with a few blue boxes of Playmobil track. Going cheap as it was discontinued. The boxes were playmobil but the track was LGB.

The points (R1 only) were not even in Playmobil boxes - they were standard LGB red boxes with a blue PM label stuck on the end!
The PM-badged range was very limited, 1-foot straights, R1 curves and R1 manual points - plus maybe the diamond crossover?

Like others above, I bought quite a lot of it during my first LGB collecting phase in the mid-80s, as a local toy shop stocked it along with all the other Playmobil stuff.
Very good value at the time!

Jon.

Yep, had a couple of boxes of PM(LGB) straights when a local model shop closed down many years ago, also a couple of PM controllers.
They also had the sorry remains of one of the RC "multiple-units" at the back in their kids play area, I salvaged that and used the bogies to make a well-flat wagon. Would post a piccie but can't even find the wagon now that all my garden stuff is stored away!
