Do i spot some meerkats on the corner of your garden

Dam neat
Now I have something to show SWMBO, that's almost just what I was planning.
How do you plan to watertighten it? impermax? surely a pond liner woun't work here?

Well im going to cheat a little. Only the top of the DAM is that thick, 2 inches down it steps in. To allow the small pond to sit under (the one in the corner, next to the shed).

You could power your trains from that hydro electric dam just add a turbine
Very nice work by the way

Phase 3 almost complete!
Just the mine area to finish off. As you can see the main pond is still to be dug. The spoil will go on to phase 4, when I start it.
Had to start phase 5, the waterfall, on the other side of the pond to the dam. This is because I won't be able to move the rocks into place once the pond is dug.

Now that is one piece of civil engineering

WOW! I bet that lot took some moving. Astound us with some figures, how many tons of rock have you moved , how much water will it hold ?

make sure you get all that cement dust and slurry out before adding koi, as they dont like it up them. dudley, full time manager of pond aquatic centre. and part time g scaler.

funny,,, your garden looks like mine ,,, except you have now surged ahead
are you concreating your pond and painting it
or fibreglass or liner
