I've been playing around with stop-action video again. Thought you might like to see how I set up an operating session.

Wow ! That was alot to get done in 4 minutes and 49 seconds. I'll bet you're too exhausted to run trains after that.....LOL

Absolutely fascinating! What was the actual lapsed time? I particularly like the shunting movements.

Actual running time was 1h 24m. Took me a bit longer than normal as it was the first running session of the season and so distributing the goods stock to the outlying stations took longer. Normally, the goods stock is stored in blocks on the storage sidings according to their old locations and so the distribution goods train is ready made up. Also, I don't need to brush the station areas quite so rigorously later on in the season. Setting-up for a full operating session usually takes between 40m and an hour.

Of course, when I just fancy running a train or two, it takes a lot less time to set up (just a quick trip around the line to 'tame' the plantlife).

Rik superb illustration of how a Model Railway is set up to work as a real illustration of the Prototype. Benny Hill has nothing on your elastic abilities!

All I needed was a couple of buxom blondes (Now how many times have I thought that?)

I love the way you wield the magic stick so adeptly (ooh-er misses) for uncoupling. :-)
