Had an attempt yesterday
a tour from the shed to the summit
some slow running issues, but it was supposed to be a trial run, but I couldn't get a better one as I ran out of memory and light
plenty of sound from the Summerlands chuffer on the 1:33, from RH Jack "Dic Penderyn"
look out for the ginger junction controller at about 1m30 followed by an unscheduled stop for the wrong kind of leaves on the line
the abrupt end is at the "head of brass" where the tunnel cutting will start

the horseshoes and cuttings were inspired by the WHR, and the spiral by the FR
I've not been to Dave's line [yet] but James has told me a bit about it

really nice. do the drivers fear the huge cats roaming the area?

In the end I found that for making onboard films you can't really beat a battery diesel- although no nice chuff.

Blood and Sand that's a hell of a run - Is there enough "coal in t'hole" and watter in't boiler to get there AND back!!?

I can get about 3 round trips on a good day on 1 tank of gas and fill of water, depending on load and stops
