I was at the Lincoln show today , looking at some kits when I overheard a conversation that went something like this.
Punter : So why have you just brought out a kit of Talyllyn coach number xx ?
Kit Manufacturer : Its to go with the new Roundhouse Tom Rolt .
Sounds good to me !

Oh dear, yet another Roundhouse offering i dont like :crying:

Ahh well, I like it! One of my favourite Talyllyn locos actually.

But I'm still keeping a close eye on Accucraft at the moment...

Wonder if it will be scale or "enbigulated" and sold in both 32 and 45 mm gauge format?

If you look at the more recent releases like Taliesin etc you will see that Roundhouse are making moves to more scale products, so expect this one to be roughly to scale too.

I would think it a dead certainty that this model, as with the Roundhouse range will be available for 32mm and 45mm

Uh oh, looks like Pete here will want some more money (which will be gone when Linda arrives! :( )...

Easy solution, send your Linda here, for a small nominal fee :bigsmile::bigsmile:

That's interesting, because I heard they were doing an FR Double Fairlie, using two Taliesin power bogies. I guess we shall see in due course.

I've heard several people say it definitely wont be a Double Fairlie! We shall see. Tom Rolt is a more sensible choice I feel.

mmm, my least favourite loco on my favourite railway! It doesn;t fulfil my saddletank fetish, but if it's nice I may be forced to have one. Looks like the Kawasaki is up for sale!
