One requirement for the new mailbox....and it works!

After living at the same place for nearly 15 years, never a problem with the mailbox. Then it was hit three times in one month, it was time for a new one.

Along with classing up the mailbox to match the rest of the property, I wanted one a bit larger to make things a bit easier for the Postman than to have to drive all they way to the house with his large 1990s Buick Park Avenue and find room to turn around.

Yup, LGB car boxes fit in the mailbox!

Actually....it was hit twice in the ice storms this year (once by the postman himself, he called) and another time by a delivery truck that was supposed to be here around 2:00-3:00 but got here closer to 6:00-7:00!!
