SWMBO is determined  that I buy a 3D printer and has her eye on a Dremel model for my birthday/Xmas present.
I admit I am not completely averse, although the learning curve will be steep. Oh well, the little grey cells need exercise.

Why not officially name the 3D printer Ludd, it would be fun to see who gets it.

I never complain when my wife asks to buy me gadgets.

Diy tools however are a different story. A tile cutter and selection of bathroom catalogues cannot be a good sign...

About 45 years ago my wife bought me a Stanley plane for my birthday when we were doing the supermarket shop which goes on my credit card. I'm still not sure if she ever paid me for it.

Was it a plain plane? Or a rebating plane?

Sorry, to early... More coffee!

Could be weather related - 'The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain'.

That's why you should never leave your woodworking tools outside, even in Spain
