O Ludd, have mercy

SWMBO is determined that I buy a 3D printer and has her eye on a Dremel model for my birthday/Xmas present.
I admit I am not completely averse, although the learning curve will be steep. Oh well, the little grey cells need exercise.

I never complain when my wife asks to buy me gadgets.

Diy tools however are a different story. A tile cutter and selection of bathroom catalogues cannot be a good sign...
