Interesting concept of extending the boiler some and putting a Pony Wheel on. I suspect at some stage there may have been a Tender to go with it. I remember some of the early US Magazines where all sorts of abuses were done to poor old Stainz to make her more US like. Must have been a big relief when the US 2-6-0 was introduced by LGB.

Not my cup of tea. I do have an 0-4-2 based on a german narrow gauge harbour loco. I will dig out a photo of it in due course. I seem to remember that I used a PMT kit as the basis.
