Morning all. Thought I'd say hello. I managed to purchase alot of g scale track train etc from a very nice man who had it set up in his coach house.....which is twice the size of my house! Anyway I have enough track to go around the garden twice and more pints than I need. Three engines coaches and wagons as well as point controllers etc. All for £700 not bad I think.... I added it up on second hand on eBay and I reckon I have about 3k worth of stock. So I'll stop braggin about my purchase andshow you what I have do so far.....

Sounds like you got a bargain!?

Pictures, when you are ready, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum, at some stage I suspect you will need some more reliable locomotives. The yellow one is a Bachman which are not very happy on small radius curves. As is to be expected a Stainz is present plus what looks like the Fortuna Flyer? Not sadly really a viable method of pulling trains. But your bargain will be the track, controllers and other rolling stock I would guess. Track these days is notoriously expensive so at least that should not stop your headlong dash to a wonder world in the garden.

That's a cracking start - get out and start playing trains, and worry about how you're going to set down something permanent later >:) >:) >:)
