New Coaches For The Cfr.

Three-axle coaches were/are quite popular on the continent, but then they also seem to have an astonishing number of two-axle ones as well. Perhaps those readers who gallivant around such places can say what the ride is like? (If anything like our 'Pacer' trains, I wouldn't want to travel the length of the platform in them.)
Er, why are so many blinds drawn then - just what is going on in there?...

Well the coaches wern't called "Thunderboxes" for nothing
As for the blinds, it's to hide the inactivity of the maintenance guys that use these carriages

They look great with the loco too, looks like a typical pway train. Id like to see with some grubby flat cars and a tatty ballast wagon. What about some overnight graffiti? Though I just cant bring my self to weather any of my stuff, I don't trust myself.

The gangway gap between the two coaches is far too wide. I will have to close the gap a fair bit. Don't know about graffiti but the coaches will be weathered.
I'm not sure wether there are blinds on the windows or if they are blanked off. There is some seating in the clear window areas but not in the blanked off areas.

Yeah, Zman would love a full rake of these :giggle:

They are very 'new and bright'.. Even if they are Piko!:rofl::rofl:

Hat, coat, door...

Mmmm love the grubby grilles on the 218
But that BR80, it just needs to see my airbrush. It will be quick and fairly painless :wasntme:

One of the Bahnbau 218's was hired to Alex a couple of years back to work the portions of their service trains between Immenstadt and Oberstdorf, so they are not out of place on "normal" passenger as well as engineering stock.........

At Immenstadt.
