Looking really good Paul.
Can't wat to see the hoppers going round.

ive done a load test and the wagons go up and down great mr spike! if you are wondering about the weird level crossing, it had to be wheelie bin proof, as i have a path through my garden lol. just need loads more gravel now.

Nice one....

Coming along nicely Paul. Great photos - we like photos here:)

Great work very nice looking patio garden

Hi,

I did enjoy looking at your pictures. Your setup looks a bit like the new garden project I face. I'm going to have to work with some gradients - I'd be interested in comments about any problems and how you tackled them! I liked your simple bridge construction by the way.

Regards,

Chris.

Niiiice, and looks 'she' friendly too, well done

thanks for all your kind coments! i didnt really have any problems making the incline/embankment, apart from the weight of the cement pushing the shuttering out. would use more supports next time. i did want a lgb small truss bridge, but no one had them in stock. so i used two lengths of ''L'' shaped soft wood, as strutts and layed the sleepers into them. very happy with the simple result. must got to bed, been on nights yawwwwwwwwwwwwn

been busy today, weather been nice, and now got my line linked up to the main at the other end. here are some pictures, will test it later on with a train. hope my little 1amp transformer can do it, must get a new one.

Hey Paul that's really nice- it's impressive what you have done as there is plenty of railway in a smaller garden - yet there is still a nice garden there if you know what I mean. It would have been easy to dominate the garden, but you have done it quite artfully.

Very interested to know what gradient is on the bridge approaches and what sort of train you run up them. Also how have you found the transition areas were the line goes from flat to incline - any uncouplings?

Nice. PS some vids soon then!

thanks, i will try to do a plan......... im pleased with the results, when i started out, i decided that i wanted a railway in the garden.

So how far can you go with a 1 amp controller? Can I do a dogbone in a 15 yard garden or do I have to upgrade? Let me know how you get on!
