MTS MZS software...stand alone virtual operation..possible?

Hi, I have a friend living in Greece, he has a MTS layout with the MZS software.
He has trouble running the automation part of the software. Unfortunately, I don't have MTS, but do have a small understanding of other DCC systems, and am a bit techie...

So..the question
Can I run the MZS automation in virtual mode on a pc without any MTS kit?

You should be able to....you would need to use the mouse to "trigger" the feedback sensors.

Excellent..the answer I wanted....
Now, to install the software...design a small oval with 2 passing loops, and then have 3 trains running in alternating fashion...virtual of course

My friend uses magnets and reeds for detection.

If I then use his reed numbers on my plan, I should be able to prove that my virtual sequence runs on his layout..which can be reduced to an oval with 2 passing loops
