I am setting up my layout again after many years break. Hence, I have some as yet untested MTS2 control equipment. I had all my early 2000's equipment converted by Massoth to parallel in 2006. The one exception to this is a 55090 booster which I purchased in 2007, but haven't used yet. I assumed this was either capable of accepting parallel commands from the Central Station 55005 as it was a 2007 purchase, but now I can read the date from the OK label (003082) I see it is a 2002 unit! There is another sticker on the base "RZGEV3" if this means anything.
Greg's splendid LGB DCC (MTS) article states that all 55090's MAY be able to accept parallel commands, but says he needs to research this further. I wonder if anyone has the answer to this query of mine? Thanks for any help.
