The kitchen can be a useful source of bits, for sure - the display box from Nespresso coffee pods makes an excellent holder for my acrylic paint pots

Mr Kipling isn't the only benefactor. I have quite a collection of foil containers from the Christmas (soon be here again) mince pies, M&S puddings (plastic) and oversized foil blister packs from some medicinal capsules. These are really useful for mixing very small quantities of two-part glues.(Not entirely sure what the medicine is good for......)

Also, those small plastic boxes that you can see on market stalls that hold a sweets etc in weighed batches.

You may also may be amazed to learn that, some smaller shops will give away the larger ones, saves them disposal charges.
