British narrow gauge (esp. Southwold and W&LLR)

Continuing my exploration of the west country and today visited the Moseley Industrial Museum at Tumbly Down Farm, near Redruth - http://www.tumblydownfarm.co.uk/museum.html - I`d say it is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of model railways and / or industrial railways. The owner, Colin Saxton, couldn`t have been more helpful and was clearly proud of the work he`s done in preserving industrial locos and stock. I hadn`t appreciated his connection, as the founding father, of the Moseley Railway Trust up at Apedale until I met him.
I`m sure he has the largest permanent operational Hornby Dublo layout in existence

And, much to my delight, he has a Simplex 20hp loco identical to the IP kit I`ve just built.

I even got to drive a train..... What an excellent day!
