Morning On The Cfr.

Love it, nice and busy....like the chap up the pole!

Nice, I love the little diesels.
I think I asked this before, but did not see an answer.
How do you make your line-side planks, that form some of your platforms and viaduct walkways? I would like something similar on my layout.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Dave, the wooden walk ways were constructed by a very skilled "Jack of all trades" who helped in the early construction of the CFR. I will sort out the measurements and instructions and post them on here later.

To me they look like freelance brake vans based on those of the Padarn railway.
This was a four foot gauge (yes, 4ft not 4ft8.5inch) gauge line linking the nominal 2ft gauge lines in the quarry with the nominal 2ft gauge at the port.
Each four foot transporter wagon carried four 2ft slate wagons except the last which had one of these vans replacing one of the slate trucks.
