Over the summer months I have converted some LGB tippler wagons to chain couplings using B & Q bathroom chain. The removed LGB couplings will be used on future projects. The pin on the wagons just dry cleaning coat hangers cut up and fitted into drilled holes on the tipplers. Two end tipplers were fitted with end brake handles and platforms. All have been sprayed black and await weathering, and distressing. The diesel loco is a rebuilt LGB HF130 chassis plus a Bachmann cab off a Porter. The loco is stuffed with lead plus a sound unit. The two Forneys have featured on the forum before but have now had their cabs altered.
