Massoth XLS Sound Decoder Solder Pads

Hi
I have a Massoth XLS Decoder On the under side the Manual shows there are 5 solder Pads But my decoder has 6 Pads and they are not marked . The Manual dose say that Functions 7-8 have solder pads but am not sure which ones they are . Would be good if massoth had made marking to show which are which . I have included some Attached Photos . Thanks For any help. I like Massoth but these decoders are way out.

Page 13 shows the six terminals as in your photo. However, to me. it looks like some solvent has attacked your decoder removing the labeling of these pads and some of the blue colour of the decoder underside. Hopefully it's a trick of the light or something and your decoder works as it should.

I found this picture in the latest Massoth XLS manual


It shows 6 solder pads with A7 and A8 indicated. Does this look like yours? The latest XLS manual is here:

Maybe you have an old manual for some reason?

Thanks for all your help. Must have been given the wrong manual with this Decoder .

Yes, you have an old manual. Please ensure you are using the new one, in 2016 Massoth made a new layout including one new 3-pin-socket on the top-side (near "A3" und "A4") , for direct connection of one uncoupler.
