Hi guys!

I've been trying to log on to the download centre to get the latest XLS firmware, but it doesn't seem to acknowledge my password. I tried re-registering and that didn't work either so I'm wondering if they are having issues with the website? Anyone else able to login to the download centre?
The problem that spurred me to go there in the first place is that I installed one of the new dcc pulsed smoke makers and I can't get it to produce four chuffs per revolution in digital mode. It will do four in analog, but not in digital, and that got me wondering if I need the latest XLS firmware to work with it...
Anyone been able to use one of these and get four chuffs/rev?

Hi Keith,

I am having the same issues with the download centre. Peter has informed me they have changed webhosting package and are experiencing issues. Hopefully it will be sorted by tomorrow.

I believe they have made some functional additions to the digital version of the pulsed smoke unit AFTER initial shipping and thus suspended delivery of them, now I do not know what the functional additions were.

Hi Mark, thanks for the response. I had a feeling they might have made changes because my manual doesn't match the revised version online...
Not a happy camper. Doesn't anyone do thorough testing anymore? :angry:
 
Just curious if Massoth are on holidays? Still haven't heard anything from either my hotline email or in the forum to the smokemaker issue. Anyone heard anything from them lately?

I posted on the forum weeks ago.. Nothing.

I am able to logon to the site though..
 
Hi Phil,

Yes and I see that in the download centre they have updated the information on the new servo decoder, so it must be getting close to delivery. I'm not sure why they are slow to respond in the forum...

I emailed to info@massoth.de last week and had a reply within 24 hours.
 
I had an email from them this morning.
 
All I got was an automated "we got your email" type email...still nothing. Maybe I should have written it in German or sent it to the German hotline address?? :wits:
Mark, maybe you can give them a prompt...I guess maybe they don't have an answer to my problem yet...
