Hi Massoth users,

Massoth Service Tool: can’t update central stations until further notice

At this moment the MST can’t update central stations properly.
The update generates read out error messages and is terminated by the MST.

After this don’t retry to update again.
With the risk that the firmware gets corrupt and bricks your central station.
The only remedy for that is to send it back to Massoth in Germany for a reset.

Annoying is that the MST doesn’t give any clue about the error messages.
Only a warning message on the Massoth website:

Work around until this issue is solved:
- Central station update by the Dimax Update Tool

The Massoth people are working on a solution.

Meanwhile Massoth has updated MST the central station firmware files.

So be sure to give your MST the online update first.
After that you can update your central station.

According to Massoth the central station update should work fine now.

Massoth hasn’t found the solution yet for successfully updating their central stations with the Massoth Service Tool.
The advice in the MST doesn’t help you either:
First switch off central station, wait 1 min. and switch on again.

The issue lies in the MST and not in the central station firmware.

There only helps the older Dimax update tool 1.30.
Massoth is working on it to change the remark in the MST, until the issue is solved.
