Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST test train

While Greg (gregh) was over here, we decided to give my latest loco build a test run around the track. We piled on 25 goods wagons and she sailed up the 1:40 gradients with only the slightest hint of wheel-spin at one point. A testament, I think, to the Piko 0-6-0 motor block on which she was based. I've not put a force meter on the train but I struggled to shift it by hand after I'd taken the loco off.

Impressive ! :o

Very nice goods wagons too ??? :P

Thanks chaps.
I was somewhat impressed myself. I must admit I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as powerful.

Thanks.
I like a bit of variety in my goods stock, though this video has highlighted the need to install some brake gear on the wagons based on HLW chassis.

Impressive; 50 axles eh? I've had 38 behind Countess and the Baguley up my 1:40. I must try again now I've got some more stock. ;)

Two thumbs up. Very nice indeed.
