Much as I hate having to use an M.S. application I find I need to make up some lettering that previously I would have done in Photoshop CS. I now only have P/S Elephants 11 (because it's so slowww and cumbersome). Can I use Paint for the same thing, I need it on a large curve? I also need a good choice of fonts and colours. Any hints and/or tips well appreciated; I never used or even looked at Paint before.

Late edit: - Had a good fiddle with Paint and still cant see what I want. is there something else that's better.

The 'freeby' version of DrawPlus perhaps? :think:

I was going to say:

If you have '3D paint' you're putting it on too thick! :p:rofl::rofl:

Do you have Wordart? I have it in MS Word - you would then have access to loads of different fonts, colours, shading, etc. Point sizes from 8 to 96! Just click on "Insert when you have opened word.

Name Change (3).JPG

That what I use.

Mick, I don't use M.S. Office, I have Open Office so no Word-art. I need an arch of letters.

Scot, I'll take a look at that.

I used Paint to replan my Kitchen back when I moved to Hemel in 2000. Bit clunky but it did work to show Kitchen Units and how they may be mived about to optimise the design. I now use a Mac based CAD Package which is so much better.

Hmm! I do have Turbo-cad 16, didn't think of trying that. :think::think:
