You don't have the permission to purchase
I'm not renowned for giving stuff away, but that's what I'm doing. I bought a job lot on fleabay last week and this was part of it. I've taken out what I wanted and thought there might be someone out there who could make use of these bits rather than them being consigned to the bin.
The coach body is made from thick printed card, glazed and with some wood bracing. One end has come off, but is included. There is a representation of longitudinal seating inside. The floor appears to be MDF. There are three plastic ventilation cowls on the card roof. Also included is a bag containing a selection of home-made seating units, some wooden spacers for the bogie pivots, mock battery box thingies to go under the chassis and a bundle of printed name boards (Folk Dancer Lines). The floor has a sticker underneath which says "www.locolines.net another handbuilt model by Roy Fitzsimmonds". Googling that produces no results. Update: looks like rail-roadmodels.co.uk could be the origin.
Make no mistake, this is a spares or repair project only but can be yours for the £3 cost of the postage. First come, first served.P1070569 (2).JPG

Any takers? The bin men come early tomorrow so will go in it this evening.

Hate the idea of it going in the bin so if no-one else wants it I would gladly take it off your hands. I don't seem to have the time or ability these days for much in the way of kit building so I can see this as a lineside building near a station.

Are you going to the Aylsham Steam in Miniature this weekend?

Paul

No Paul, but as you live in the same village as my son and I'm visiting his house on Thursday if you let me have your address by PM/conversation I'll drop it off (or leave in a secure place) to save you the postage.

I think Railroad Models was originally Locolines - they did lining overlays for some basic SM32 locos and then expanded :nod::nod:
