I have a friend in Germany who is trying to track down a copy of the above book. Written by Peter Dobson and published in 1985 by Nelson & Saunders. If anyone has a copy for sale, please pm me with price. I will then check with Germany and if OK will purchase on his behalf.

They do come up on ebay from time to time which is where I got mine for a much more sensible price.

Thanks for the pointer to A - I never realised that there was a UK site. I can't help with the Dobson book I'm afraid, but in an astonishing piece of thread drift, I noticed this on AbeBooks.

I have a copy of the peter Dobson book, but it's not for sale sorry! Paid £2.50 for it in a remainder shop years ago!

Just checked AbeBooks (http://www.abebooks.co.uk - highly recommended sales site for independant booksellers) and that only brought up one, which is the same one - at same price - as the lowest-price entry on Amazon. Abe is always worth a try for secondhand books, I've got some very hard-to-find items through them at much less than Amazon prices (recently got a copy of the World of LGB manual via Abe for about 8 quid!). Sadly in the case of the Peter Dobson book it seems that the only copies are from people who know that they are in demand....
