A great heads up, Neil . Unfortunately I have discovered that we do not have a store in Colchester :wits: so if I factor in the petrol to Ipswich or Clacton it bumps up the price on the packs :impatient:..what a shame, they seem to be very good value. I will just have to continue with the local Rapid outlet.

Same date but this Year though these would have been in from yesterday.

Batteries are back, got 3 packs of AAA at £2.99 still pretty good no price increase in 4 Years well done Lidl.

Also these Diamond Warding Files like Swiss Files were in at £3.99. Bound to be of use at some stage, even though I have plenty of Swiss Files. These may be good for clearing plenty of MEAT.

And I spotted the files in Lidl in Alcudia, Majorca last week...5 euros?...so I bought a pack!
Then the next day I saw a fellow G scale soc. area group member go past where we were having a meal. Did have a trip on the Soller Railway....
