LGB vs Piko 1st Radius Points

Hi everyone. I'm planning an extension to my railway and would like to know if LGB 1st radius points, will fit in place of a 1st radius curve? I know it seems a silly question, but when I tried this with Piko points (which all of mine are) they seem to be slightly longer. Are LGB points the same or will they fit in?

An LGB R1 point will fit exactly in place of an LGB R1 curve.

The Piko track geometry is slightly different, I believe, for example they have two or three different "standard" straights, just over and just under 300mm, which are used with their various points and crossovers. The LGB geometry is simpler.

Jon.

Both the LGB and PIKO R1 switches fit in place of an R1 curve. The difference is indeed that the straight of the PIKO switch is 20 mm longer (320 mm) than the LGB switch (300 mm).
