LGB radius 3 or Piko radius 5 points

I was going to splash out on some PIKO points cat no 35222 or 35223 (dragon-gscale have them at £39.99) but was just a little worried about their reliability from the concerns posted in an earlier thread. If they do require some 'surgery' to make them more reliable I wondered if anyone has some s/h ones to sell of that I could practice on? As an alternative I could do with some LGB radius 3 points. I have now located sufficient diamond crossings for my immediate needs.
