LGB Point drive attachment screws - cheaper source?

I'm looking for a source for screws to attach either the hand sprung or electric motors to LGB track.

Somewhere, somewhere (which I cannot now find) I a have a pack of the mixed LGB screws, but I only want one - I think when I measured them they were 9mm long but couldn't find my screw gauge at that point, and now having got the gauge I can't find the pack of screws. I know that one of the german shops (Modell-land I think) will sell me 100 of all of the same but is there a source in the UK that will sell me what I need? (Just tried looking at Screwfix without success, whilst searching via the internet seems impossible without knowing the "technical" description of what I'm after. Other than pointing our a source can anyone give me the correct "technical" description e.g. Japanned size 4 9mm long to enable me to search some out ?

You may be thinking of Champex Linden?

Peter at Chalk Garden Rail can supply them.

I've got some spare, if you only want a few PM me your address and I'll get them in the post to you.

'Type B' self-tapper for screws without the annoying point on the end!
First find someone doing Type B's, then look on their site for the finish you want.
Nearly everyone has gone to the Philistine method of quoting a diameter, rather than a gauge of screw these days! :-(

the other problem, is that most commercial outlets I have found want to sell you a box of 1000. - That's a lot of decoders to fit!
Good luck, report back,
Phil.

Cliff,
Sorry for the tardiness - I've had poor internet access for a few days but now have new combined router/modem, not that their router or line was at fault you understood, although quote the engineer "that's an old one....".

Thanks for the very kind offer of a few screws. I've just done an audit and its 11 sets (so 22 screws) without looking at a few ropey ones which I know are out there somewhere - which to me is rather alot - so I will just order from Champex Linden, although will try Chalk Garden rail first - better someone in the UK has my money if possible. Also, found Chalk Garden rail very helpful regarding the loco-tender cable for the US starter set 2-4-0 (see things wanted post). Rang Monday and cable - and some other bits so postage was worthwhile, arrived today.
