The following standard gauge G1 scale locos and passenger cars are for sale as I am now going to focus on GIIm narrow gauge and these are surplus to requirements. They are all DB Era III or thereabouts. They were all new to me except where noted. P&P is £10 for each item (Hermes tracked) except first two locos which will be £20 due to weight and insurance, or you can collect from Ascot area. Payment by paypal or bank transfer.
LGB 20121 V100 diesel loco with factory fitted Trix motor, light and sound decoder
Comes in original box, in good condition, with original instructions and downloaded documentation. The loco is in good condition, good runner, used indoors and outdoors, but with some damage to rear and side offside steps (see picture). Lights as supplied work but are feeble with one small LED with light tube to feed three lights. This is a well known flaw with these models. There are three white lights at each end, I tried to fit two red LEDs at rear but not very successfully so you can see in the pictures the two holes I drilled have been made good with body filler and repainted. Sound is very good, loud enough to be heard in a garden setting. Driver figure included. Little wear to wheels or shoes.
These are still available new for between £400 and £500. My asking price of £300 reflects the slight bodywork damage to what is otherwise an excellent loco.
PIKO 37530 V36 diesel with fitted Massoth XL motor and light decoder and PIKO sound decoder 36224
Comes in original box, in good condition, with original instructions and downloaded documentation. The loco is in pristine condition, good runner, only used indoors. Directional (white only, very bright) and cab lights all work. Fitted with single buffer but the original double buffers are included. Sound works well with station sounds and whistles etc. Hardly any wear to wheels or shoes.
These are still available new for between £270 and £280 but without decoder or sound. The PIKO sound decoder with speaker is £140 RRP and you can get a Massoth XL for about £40. My asking price is £300 for a good as new model with DCC decoder and sound fitted.

Unboxed, unless you want the set box it came in which is in good condition!

PIKO 37921 DB 2-axle 2nd / 3rd class passenger car
Comes in original packaging, which is in very good condition. Carriage itself is almost pristine, hardly used and only indoors. Plastic wheels. Includes alternative double buffer set to replace fitted single buffers. You can still get these new for between £70 and £80, I am asking £50.
LGB 30710 DB 4-axle 2nd class passenger and baggage car
Unboxed. I bought this second hand and it has been used outside. Despite this it is in quite good condition and all the handles, trimmings, interior and exterior are intact, and all the doors and gates work including the folding doors of the baggage compartment. The DB logo on one side has practically worn off (see picture) but other lettering is fine if a little weathered. It has metal wheels which still have plenty of life in them. This is not available new but these models sometimes appear on ebay. My asking price is £70.
