LGB 55080 Work with Analogue only ???

I pressed the buy button before reading the small print, thinking that this small piece of wizardry (together with the appropriate isolation tracks) was all that was required to make it happen. [font="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"]I then realised my mistake, I require a DCC set up. This however is not an option for me at this point in time so my question is, "Does anyone know if the LGB 55080 unit can be made to work (powered by) analogue only"? [/font]

I doubt that it will work other than with an MTS system as MTS uses A/C current rather than analogue D/C.

I'm told the Massoth equivalent will work on DC, but I'm not sure about the LGB 55080.

Maybe you could swap it here on the forum for an LGB 10151 Reverse Loop set that will work on DC....

What you need is four diodes, very easy.

I opened up the LGB 1015 and all it was was four diodes.
