hello all, im after the RJ11 cable for in use with a 55055p and the 51070 5 amp controller.

Aparently its an 8 wire and fatter than the standard MTS cable. I have outlined what it looks like as my second hand 55055 did not come with it.

if anyone has a spare or can point out where i can buy one that would be a great help.

Thanks Rich

That one only has 2 cores, he needs 8 cores.

thank but it needs 8 cores and i am unable to find one in the normal outlets.

I think the RJ11 plug is only 6 pins, there will be a different ref for the 8 pin but don't ask me what it is.

Its an RJ45 then

I'll check just what it is, as the above is wrong..
The incorrectly named RJ45 is a 8c8p (8 connection, 8 pole) connector.
The 'RJ11' is a 6-way (so a 6 connection, n pole) connector, and for completeness, the 'RJ12' is a 4 connection connector.

The 'c' and 'p' refer to the number of physical ways the connector could have, and the actual number of wires in the example you have in your hand..

I will not have a MTS unit in front of me before Wednesday evening, but if you can confirm it is the same 'size' etc. as on a Massoth unit, and how long you want one, I can make any of the above to suit.

Hi Rich
I think I have what your after, I got it with my Piko radio receiver ,it's an 8 pin plug and says analog on it, so if you can't get sorted give me shout and I'll send it out to you

hello thanks for the replies. So i had a look at the actual unit and it does seem to use an Rj45. i will give it a go next weekend and see the results. Thanks for the replies

I used an RJ45 cable from ebay to extend my massoth navigator before I went wireless.
