Are the front driving wheel sets on the black version of ‘Spreewald’ the same as those on the Corpet Louvet locomotive, I.E. part number E 264 054? If not, does anyone know the correct part number?
Secondly, apart from buying direct from Maerklin, does anyone have a set they would like to sell? Mine’s developed a split gear…

Cheers

Not sure if they will be the same size or if he still has them but I took some LGB wheels to Tony Green at Lincoln to sell on my behalf a month or two back he may still have them but measure your existing ines first to be sure size is correct.

Thanks Jon, is it possible for you to ask him, or msg me his contact details?
I’ve found the Markin website a great resource for current LGB parts and part numbers.
For the wheels in question, the Corpet Louvet, Spreewald and black versions are 37.5 diameter and take the same size traction tyres E126174
There are three different wheelsets for each loco, front set with cog, middle set minus cog and rear set with cog and groove for traction tyre. If the front and rear wheels are reversed on any model, they are just that, simply reversed.

For the Corpet Louvet, the front wheel part number is: E320225
For the Cl99 German 2-6-0T, it’s E133988.

I think the difference in part numbers is due to the fact that the German loco has red coloured inserts, whereas the Corpet Louvet has maroon coloured inserts.

Ah the ones were all rad so probably not much use to you. Thinking further I reckon they were from an American 2-6-0 which may be a bit bigger?
