image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Thinning of my collection continues. I have for sale the above loco purchased new by me, in totally original condition and little used as it has spent most of its life in a display case. It is boxed with instructions and smoke oil bottle. The loco and box are in my opinion in excellent condition. I believe it is an original LGB loco made in Germany (I.e not Marklin). It does however have the plastic handrails which can be replaced by brass ones. Happy to send further pictures by email if you are interested. Price is £400 plus postage at cost or I will drive York/Carlisle/Edinburgh (from Newcastle Upon Tyne) to meet. SOLD

Hello Mike.
I can see the MTS sticker on the box - does the loco have a factory-fitted decoder and has it got sound?
Regards, Graham.

In the catalog there are two models. Both have factory fitted decoders for the then LGB system but I think it's the 20272 model that has sound. I have only ever ran it analog but it's had little use.

I have the same model (the loco at the back on my forum avatar), and that came with a factory decoder but no sound - I fitted a Massoth S and a loudspeaker, a relatively easy job, wiring consists of simply plugging it onto the track power pins in the centre of the LGB large onboard decoder - I think there is still a thread about the fitting on here somewhere......
